Valentino is the main line of fashion couturier Valentino Garavani, who opened his studio in Via Condotti, Rome in 1959 At first the designer from Voghera worked with Jean Dessès and Guy Laroche and in the 60’s joined the fashion world when his creations were published on Vogue.
In the 70’s chose the "V" as logo of the fashion house and his signature became synonymous with class and haute couture. Valentino, fashion genius and lover of harmony, proposed his flawless dresses and luxury accessories for men and women. Women's garments emphasize hips revealing the décolleté, embellished with jewels, romantic touches such as ruffles and embroideries. Outerwear, suits, knitwear, trousers, leather goods, handbags and sophisticated accessories are precious and always trendy, worn by celebrities and Hollywood stars, yesterday as today. The dry lines and the "knot" embellished with strass, as well as the popular “ Valentino red”, feature the Italian couturier’s aesthetic. Valentino is the master of colours, who chooses easy to wear shades as ivory, white, bronze, plum and gold, in contrast and complements with black.
